  To set up my phone and withdraw money, the staff was very quick and helpful. While it can seem like a very chaotic place, I don’t usually spend to much time waiting here as there are many staff members available for customers. Zaad and a Telesom phone are a must in Somaliland if you’re going to be here for any extended period of time. This is the simplest way to pay for food, items, services rather than paying in Schillings or USD (no other currency is really accepted here) as change is almost exclusively going to be given in Schillings which can be a lot to hold in your pockets. My Telesom phone has been great to have for simple communication around the country and to make international calls to places like the United States.
